One thing Tapping does is lower your cortisol levels " While the control group ( In a randomized controlled study) and talk therapy group showed only a 14% drop of cortisol over time, the tapping group showed a 24 % decrease in cortisol levels, on average, with some experiencing as much as 50% decrease in cortisol."
Also " Harvard studies show that stimulating selected meridian acupoints decreases activity in the amygdala, as well as other parts of the brain associated with negative emotions." Tapping stimulates these meridian acupoints. A comment in the book about the book says it all for me as well.
