This is very easy to do. It comes from a very positive, encouraging standpoint. I've been using the morning& bedtime trance work everyday,
Sometimes I don't fall asleep with it (night) but even then, I can tell I am in trance and benefitting on conscience & sub-conscience levels. I've used the before dinner trance 3 times now and every time I found myself eating less than usual. I'm hoping eventually it will lead to my actually craving vegetables. I've done all the other trances twice now and will be using when needed again. They are anywhere from 20-28 minutes-so not an everyday thing for me.
The other trances are: Healthy Habits, Emotional Barriers, Self Love and Acceptance and Self Control Over Cravings.

Does self hypnosis work? I want to say straight out yes. But, as usual, I'm also using a whole lot of other tools so who knows what combo- or even just one- will work for you. You find out- I will say it is helping me with quantity control and all of a sudden I'm wanting to exercise more and I wasn't before- was "making" myself before- so I assume it's the self hypnosis doing that. I hope you give it a try- If nothing else- you won't be eating for that 30 minutes. LOL!
