We are forecast for another week of rain; the 2nd week in a row. So I haven't been able to go outside to garden. Part of the reason for no loss, along with that pasta salad on Mom's day, a second helping this week and 4 days in bed-couch not moving due to joint pain. I've now had 3 good food & exercise days in a row, but just too late for this weigh in.
I'm a big fan of Dancing With The Stars and this year a man that only has one leg and one arm is in the finals. I've watched him persevere thru his pain and get this far. I also just started reading Amy Purdy's autobiography. She has no feet and won DWTS another season. I'm using them as inspiration to face my own fear of pain and give up the wheelchair inside my home as well. I've been using it my home to prevent more damage to my joints from my weight but I now realize getting out of it will make a difference in my weight loss and in getting to my ultimate goal of walking when, where and as long as I please. The sooner my joints no longer have the burden of this last 78 pounds the better.
