I'm trying to do things differently with my diet this time so that I can have different results. I use to sit at the picnic tables , with the food, admire the scenery a few minutes after we ate and then when John went off for walk with Penny I dived into my book. Yep, I looked up now and then as I drank more of my malt.
Today, I ate lunch before we left, brought a comfy umbrella chair and put it directly under large oaks where I had a view of the river and John & penny walking. I'd brought Ted Andrews book on faeries thinking I'd try some of his exercises. Only I just felt such serenity and was drawn to pull out my camera for pics of the beauty around me . I even ended up communing with the trees, hugging one and thanking them for all they do for us. I was so in the moment, so serene, sugar was the last thing on my mind. Didn't even miss my usual chocolate malt.
