Step 1: Eat Breakfast with protein within 1 hour of waking up.
Step 2: Keep a food journal when, what, how you feel physically & emotionally (in depth)
Step 3: Eat 3 meals a day at regular Intervals,( for me-every 4-5 hrs) with protein (the amount you need as I explained in last post)at each meal.
Step 4: Take the recommended vitamins and Have a Potato (with skin) before bed ( & 3 hrs after eating dinner)( there are alternatives)
Step 5: Shift from white foods to brown foods.
Step 6: stop using sugars( detox time)
Step 7: Finding Radiance or getting a life. ( in her next book -Your Last Diet- this is where she begins the actual weight loss plan for those wanting to. " You are ready to lose weight when it no longer matters to you in the same way. When you have shifted from desperation and despair into clarity and motivation. When you have shifted from addiction to recovery. When you are ready to make the commitment to do what ever it takes. When doing the food is a way of life, when it is effortless and skillful. When you want your body to fit who you are inside." I highly recommend her book " Your Last Diet" for doing the 7 steps because it goes into so much more detail than the first one I read. I'll talk about the weight loss part when I get there.
For now, I'm making total commitment to steps 1&2. But, I'm also giving a shot at step 3&4-( of course already doing 5&7 for well over a year now ) just not going to beat self up what ever happens-it's a learning curve for me- a personal experimentation coming from my GM perspective. If I don't lose at this point fine, if I do YEAH! But staying steady in weight and healing my emotions is my goal right now. For all my GM friends I will say it is very much like GM- very healthy. It's really why I consider it a merge for me. I need to go cook lunch now but want to tell you that a new post on what I'm doing on the emotional healing side of this is coming up next.
