I talked myself into feeling it was OK because-I'd worked hard outside in the garden and well- jeez - it's healthy protein. I settled in to watch the last few episodes of a show my son and I watch and discuss.
Then the cravings began, First I sniffed, still craving. Then I used Foot Reflexology and cravings left for about an hour. Here They Come-Back again! Those pesky food cravings. Will I make it to 9PM Tea? Then I went thru my "tools" and pulled out Tapping. That worked. Now, the cravings left as I tapped them out ( never returned) but eventually as you tap- the real feelings of why you are craving will come up. Mine were feeling guilty for eating the chicken in the first place. I tapped out that guilt and felt great compassion for myself. I also felt wise that I had used Method to deal with cravings instead of eating.
Today as I looked for a quote to go with above Lavender Fairy I thought of these three central factors that Thomas Moore uses in his personal religion. Three I use as well. On days when your eating plan doesn't go the way you wish- be sure to use them yourself: Wisdom, Compassion, Method.
