When I tried them on to see how tight they were for comparison for next month I found that they fit me! I could wear them now. Wait! I'm smaller!? How can that be when I haven't lost weight? Surely not. So I went to my closet and pulled out the red silk blouse above I bought for xmas that turned out to be too tight & had put aside to try for Feb. It fit now, with ease too! Excited I pulled out another shirt I couldn't get my arms into and sure enough now I can, though very tightly. That purple plaid will be for next months goal. I can only think that I've built up muscle that makes me smaller yet weighs more.
These days I love moving my body. I swim 45 minute laps every other day. I have so much fun with it. The laps fly by as I first say a prayer a lap for loved ones that are ill, holding them in reiki as I do. When the water is cold I first use reiki to warm up. Out of the water doing reiki usually makes me perspire. After prayers I visualize what the rest of my day and my next day will be. Then I visualize in detail as if happening now different days I desire in the future-including my ideal body and health, what I'll be wearing. I start with waking up, morning rituals, greeting my hubby & dogs, walking Penny, then that day like hiking to the beach with my son for a picnic and the salad I'll bring, then coming home, changing clothes and then meeting a client to Feng Shui her home ( a dream is to have a thriving energy based practice when we move to the west coast something that just didn't pan out here in this small town, bible belt south). Then I see myself driving along thru huge tree's, mountain above-ocean below to "The Market" to shop for fresh, organic food. I know everyone and connect smiling, talking, sharing as I have fun in the fantastic fresh ground spice dept, the locally grown meat dept and locally grown produce draws me to delight in so many choices not available where I live now. Then I drive home and prepare a lovely meal for my family. Then I visualize the rest of the night with my hubby and well that's fun, but private, LOL! I sometimes even push towards an hour seeing myself as a swimming mermaid.
This is just one example. In addition to swimming I walk every non rainy days. Any where from 20 minute walk the dog walks to over an hour park or river walks. On alternate days from swimming I do my 45 minute DVD I've talked about to fun music. I recently raised the poundage of my hand weight for this. Of course during the swim a "shark" chases me and during the DVD a "bear" chases me. So you can see why I may have more muscle and I did it without stress and lots of fun. Gosh, I'd love to hear from you how you move your body for fun. Once I'm steadier on my knees & feet I'm looking forward to new ways to move. Would love ideas for then. In the mean time have fun.
